Welcome to Salem

It’s 1692, and mass hysteria has gripped the town. As Samuel Sewall, it is your duty to identify who among the accused are witches and who are innocent. You must be clever and discerning; satanic influence takes many forms, and signs of witchcraft are subtle yet plentiful.

How to Play

You will be presented with a set of accused witches and asked to judge each one in turn “guilty” or “inno.” To aid in your decision, you will be provided a series of documents listing signs of satanic corruption. Each accused witch will have a description of their physical and personal attributes; compare them to the contextual documents to decide if they are truly a witch.

Be Warned

You may only win if you have complete accuracy--even a single misjudgment will fail your run. Make your judgments with extreme caution, and don’t let a single witch live to continue spreading satanic influence--but more importantly, you should not kill any innocents. There are many signs of witchcraft, but those very same signs can also present benignly--consider carefully how many signs of witchcraft constitutes a witch versus an unfortunate coincidence.
